Neste among the sustainability leaders in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices for the 14th consecutive time

Neste Corporation, Press Release, 16 November 2020 at 10 am. (EET)

Neste has been selected for inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) for the 14th consecutive year. The company was included in the DJSI World and DJSI Europe, once again, among the most sustainable companies in the world.

Neste’s performance received the industry’s best scores in materiality, environmental and social reporting, human capital development, and water-related risks, contributing to the company’s inclusion among the top performers.

“To be once again included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index verifies that our wide-ranging sustainability actions are well on track. We continue to work hard to reach our ambitious targets,” says Neste’s Minna Aila, Senior Vice President, Sustainability and Corporate Affairs.

Companies are selected for inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices based on a comprehensive assessment of long-term performance indicators measured by economic, environmental, and social criteria, as well as against sustainability trends. The assessment of companies this year is based on their performance in 2019. Only leading companies in each industry are included in the indices each year.
