In 2021, Neste was selected as the world's 4th most sustainable company on the Global 100 list. Inclusion on the list marks the company’s 14th consecutive inclusion on the Global 100 list; it has been included on the list continuously for longer than any other energy company in the world.

Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI)
Neste has been selected for inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) for 14 consecutive years. In 2020, we were included in the DJSI World and DJSI Europe among the most sustainable companies in the world.

Sustainability Yearbook Silver award
Neste was included in the S&P Sustainability Yearbook 2021 and received the Silver Class Sustainability Award for its sustainability performance.
Neste was highlighted as a global leader on corporate climate action by environmental impact non-profit Climate Disclosure Project (CDP), achieving a Leadership level with A- ranking on the CDP Climate Change assessment.
In CDP Forests and Water Security programs, Neste’s performance reached ‘B’ (Water),’A-’ (Forests) lists.
STOXX® Global ESG Leaders
Neste is included in the STOXX® Global ESG Leaders index. The index covers approximately 300 of the world's leading companies in terms of environmental and social sustainability and corporate governance. Neste is also included in the STOXX Global ESG Social Leaders and STOXX Global ESG Governance Leaders indices.
Ethibel EXCELLENCE Investment Register
Neste is included in the Ethibel EXCELLENCE Investment Register. This indicates that Neste performs better than average in its sector in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The evaluation and selection is done by Forum ETHIBEL.

Neste reached AAA rating in 2020 in MSCI ESG Rating Index. MSCI ESG Ratings aim to measure a company's resilience to long-term ESG risks. Companies are scored on an industry-relative AAA-CCC scale across the most relevant key issues based on a company's business model. MSCI Inc. is one of the world’s largest providers of ESG Indexes.
