We have gathered some tips and frequently asked questions that may help you when applying for a job with us.

Our open positions can be found in our Open jobs system and should be applied online. We also recommend you set up Job Alerts to receive automated emails about Neste's job openings, as we are not able to receive open applications by email.

Once you have applied for a job with us, we will be in contact with you as soon as possible.

FAQ

How can I know that my job application has been received?

A confirmation email will be sent automatically to the email address you gave on the application form. Make sure to type in your email address correctly. Unfortunately, we cannot contact everyone who applies personally due to the volume of applications we receive globally.

How can I improve my chances of being selected for an interview?

The information in the job descriptions are carefully thought-out. If you are convinced you are able to be responsible for the given challenges and match the hard requirements, you should convince us that you are the right person for the role. Also, at Neste we share a common purpose to create a healthier planet for our children. You can ask everyone at Neste their story, why they want to support this mission and how they add value to the position they hold. Therefore, we would love to hear your story as well with a motivational letter to better understand why you think we cannot pass by your application. 

Can I send my application and attachments by e-mail? 

Please apply for any of the open positions published on our career pages through our application system. We are not able to handle applications or attachments sent by e-mail.

What is the interview process like at Neste?

When you are selected for the shortlist by our Talent Acquisition Partners, you can expect a phone call to shortly discuss your application and to explain the interview process. Our interview process includes at least two interviews, where at least one interview is a face-to-face interview. For specialist, expert or leadership positions, we conduct an aptitude test with an external partner. At the end of the recruitment process we ask for references of previous employers. The total duration of the recruitment process is between 4-8 weeks.

How do you use personal data at Neste?

From a candidate’s point of view, you have the opportunity to manage your own personal data through Neste's recruitment portal. You can change, update, or delete your data in your candidate profile at any time. However, you are not able to make changes to an individual application or its attachments after submitting the application. 

We may use aptitude assessment and/or video interviews as a part of our recruitment. If needed, you can request our service providers, such as aptitude assessment partners, to give you further information concerning your personal data, for example, involving the aptitude assessments and/or video interviews. Video interviews will be stored for 12 months. If needed, you can request RecRight to delete your video and personal account by contacting them directly; support@recright.com.

Practical tips

If our system gives an error message, make sure you use Chrome as your browser. You may also need to empty the browser history.

You can enclose different attachments for each application in our system, but your candidate profile will show only the latest one.

If you withdraw your application, you cannot apply for the same job again.

Once you have sent an application, it cannot be modified, so make sure everything is included.

Use the same language in your application as was used in the job posting.
