Neste Appoints Annika Tibbe as Interim President, Neste US

Neste has appointed Annika Tibbe Interim President, Neste US, as of 16 August 2023. In her interim capacity, she will drive the development of the regional growth strategy, and act as Neste’s senior representative in the Americas. She will continue to act as Global Vice President of Logistics & Operations, Renewables Platform, and will report to Carl Nyberg, Executive Vice President, Renewable Platform, in both roles.

Annika Tibbe brings a wealth of senior leadership and supply chain experience to her new position, with lengthy tenures in the fast-paced consumer goods and agricultural sectors prior to joining Neste in 2021. A native of the Netherlands, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, and a Master of Science in Operations Management & Logistics from Eindhoven University of Technology. 

Tibbe will relocate to Houston for the duration of her interim assignment.

Chris Cooper, the previous President, Neste US, has left the company to pursue other opportunities. 

“I thank Chris for serving as President, Neste US over the past year, and for his prior contributions to our Renewable Aviation business. I wish him well in his future endeavours,” continues Nyberg.
